1. Respect people and their beliefs
Make room for thoughtful disagreement. Criticise an idea without attacking someone’s dignity. Do not harass, threaten, stalk, shame, dehumanise or discriminate unlawfully against another person. These rules apply in posts, profiles, groups, messages, prayers, images and live rooms.
You do not need to disclose a denomination to deserve respect. Do not pressure someone to share sensitive personal details, change a privacy setting, contact you privately or stay in an uncomfortable conversation.
2. Keep illegal and harmful material out
Do not share sexual exploitation or child abuse material, terrorist material, credible threats, content encouraging serious violence or self-harm, non-consensual intimate images, or instructions intended to facilitate serious harm. Do not groom or sexually exploit anyone.
Do not post someone’s address, school, contact details, medical information or other private information without authority. A prayer request is not permission to disclose another person’s situation. Do not use the community to run scams, impersonate someone, manipulate donations or steal credentials.
4. Protect young people
Do not ask young members for secret contact, sexual material, private identity documents, financial details or meetings that put them at risk. If you are young and feel uncomfortable, leave the room or conversation, block the person, report it and ask a trusted adult for help.
You must be 13 or older. Do not lie about your age or help someone bypass an age rule. The final safeguarding arrangements are [NEEDS EDITING]. This community is not an emergency service; in an immediate UK emergency, call 999 or 112.
5. Reports and complaints
Use the relevant in-app report control. Include the content or account, when it happened and a brief explanation. Safety/support contact for people who cannot access the app or wish to complain about the handling of a report: [NEEDS EDITING].
Reports are assessed in context and may use automated checks and authorised reviewers. Do not promise anonymity: evidence can reveal a reporter’s identity, and disclosure may be necessary for a lawful investigation. Do not publish reports to organise harassment.
6. Actions and appeals
Depending on seriousness and context, an action may include a warning, content removal, visibility restriction, feature limit, suspension or account closure. Serious or urgent harm can require immediate action. We will ordinarily explain the decision and how to appeal, unless safety or law prevents full disclosure.
You can challenge an action through the app’s appeal route or the confirmed support channel, including after losing account access. Explain the action and why you believe it was wrong. The operator must establish the review process and contact before this draft is effective.
See the Terms for the contractual rules and the Privacy Policy for report information and retention.
